Contract Type: Freelance, Fixed Term Monday 16th November 2026 – Sunday 3rd January 2027
Due to the nature of this contract, successful applicants will be required to attend all dates stated in the attached schedule. Rest days are outlined in the schedule.
Hours: As per attached Pantomime Schedules and requirements of Job Description
Fee: £861.43 weekly fee, plus £103.97 Holiday pay per week.
Subsistence in line with 2026 UK Theatre rates and Travel will also be payable if successful applicants address is further than 25 miles from the venue.
Location: Rehearsals will take place at Norwich Theatre Stage Two. Performances at Norwich Theatre Royal.

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Stage Manager to provide support for the rehearsals, pre-production, performances and stage management strike of the Pantomime production.
About you
With proven experience as an ASM, you will have working knowledge of the functions and capabilities of production systems, able to source props, and have strong team skills, can communicate effectively, and to give and follow instructions. You will also be able to work flexibility, with varied hours as documented the in schedule.
