Main Purpose of the Role
This role leads on areas of the Creative Learning strand of work, establishing links with schools, colleges, touring companies, learning communities and other stakeholders to increase access to creative learning and develop new creative learning programmes. This role will nurture existing creative partnerships, whilst enabling new partnerships linked to education, community settings and visiting companies. The Creative Learning Community Manager will lead a cohesive programme for and with partners, participants and professionals. You will support all key stakeholders regardless of age, background, culture or experience.
You will manage the delivery of a series of events, workshops and projects, as well as managing key partnerships and help the day to day running of a busy department, in turn contributing to the delivery of the Creative Engagement Strategy. You will be a single point of contact & support for all engaged Freelances.
Key Responsibilities
Management of Partnerships
- Maintain and build new relationships with key partners within the schools community and our spaces
- Further our ongoing partnerships with community and education providers to nurture relationships, embed creative thinking and effect change
- Build partnerships that allow schools to access creative opportunities
- Work with partners, school communities and educators to develop projects, understanding their needs and funding requirements
- Work with National and regional theatre partners to support work and opportunities within schools
- Represent Norwich Theatre at national, regional and local partnerships
